Current enrollment is approximately around 2,000 students with 20 different nationalities providing a strong mix of backgrounds, cultures, and experiences to local and expatriate students. The biggest percentage goes to Saudi students.

The Ministry of Education mandates that all students in any international school in KSA should take Islamic studies, Quran, and Saudi History and Geography as mandatory courses that are taught in a specific number of sessions circulated by MoE.
For non-Muslims students, they study Islamic Culture instead of Islamic Studies and the Quran.

Yusr International School follows the calendar set by the Ministry of Education. The academic year consists of three terms with an approximate number of instructional days that vary between 60 & 63 teaching days with an equal number of teaching weeks. The Administrative Fee is a one-time, non-refundable fee applied to all newly enrolled students, with the exception of those students who are re-enrolling after being away for less than one year.

In addition to evaluating the applicant’s previous records and studying the admission application, the Admissions office requires all new applicants to sit for an entrance exam as well as for a personal interview. Entrance exams are set for students attending Grade 1 – Grade 12.
An entrance exam fee is applied to all applicants who have been asked to take such an exam.

Information about the number of students either returning or enrolled for the next academic year is very important information for the Admissions office.
